A page at the Web site of a an outfit called Space Imaging, Inc., demonstrates their new product: commercially-available satellite photos. Not exactly pocket change -- $1,000 -- but an interesting idea nonetheless. As you can see if you're patient enough to wait for one of the enlargements to download, the resolution is high enough that you can see, oh, individual buses and cars, planes on the runway, that kind of thing. Kevin Poulsen thinks we should shoot for pix of Area 51. :)
